    1903 mark1 what do I have

This rifle was given to me by a Friend several years ago for spending a lot of hours helping him clean out the attic of his sporting goods store where this was found in a crate with several other non military long arms.

Serial number and barrel both date to 1919
Muzzle gauges to "0" with a CMPicon gauge
Other then armory stamps there are 2 flaming shells both with punch marks, one at the muzzle and one on the forward receiver ring.
The stock has a glossy finish with no inspector marks.
    Grayish green finish
The rifle appears to be unfired. Thanks

Do I have a really nice rebuild or something else I'M missing. Other pictures can be added

I think we're going to need some clear and full length pics as well as more. The grey to me says new finish, the early ones were black. It looks like a rebuild with some aftermarket sanding. There are a few here that have these and they'll be along shortly, until then you can compare to a CMPicon thread about the early rifles. Maybe John Beardicon will see this and have a chat...

A pretty, rebuilt 03 Mark1 with the wrong stock and apparently missing the special Mark1 parts.
