    Raising a smile!

Amongst all the bad things that are going on in the world at the moment; it's important to have some fun!
During confinement I had the opportunity to spend quality extra time with my 9 year old daughter. We've been shooting our 10m air rifle range in the garden and now the local range has opened; we had a trip Saturday out . She shot the 1918 .22 SMLE on the 50 metre range.
25 shot's loading herself (with supervison) she can barely close the bolt!

But yesterday was also a day off, so she asked to shoot the air rifle again. First we have the "cold one shot" challenge. One shot each, closest to bull wins, no practice before shooting this one! So maximum concentration. There was only about 1mm difference yesterday; I just scraped a win. But then she say's lets shoot some more. So she asks me if it's practice or competition? I say if there's two of us shooting, it's always a competition.
So she wants us to shoot 7 each. 10m rifle targets. She has a group that has removed the centre of the target with worst shot in the 7. I stick two in the 6.
Beaten fair and square by my 9 year old! Got to say that it made me smile! Such concentration is rare in kids these days.

I am honestly convinced women tend to shoot better than men. Its also why I figure more women aren't interested in shooting, its boring for them.

    Very nice shooting!

    She killed you properly
    Very nice.
I like to shoot my Diana 4.5 with the kids.
It ia always funny and they learn discipline and proper gun handling.
Kids are often better than adults, from what I can see myself!
