FORMER U.S. MARINES and the M! GARAND

See alot of forum members signing off "Semper Fi".
Just curious as to how many former Marines are members of this forum. I know Dick Culvericon was a Marine. To keep this post M1icon Garand related, how many of you were issued the U.S. Rifle Cal .30 M1 in boot camp. Funny, when I got discharged from the Marines I didn't think I would ever want to see an M1 again, now look what happened, I can't get enough of them. Semper Fi, Joe

Jeff, give me a bit of credit for not saying "EX", that would have really got me flamed. Semper Fi, Joe
