    FN 49 chargers

Hi all. I wasn't sure where to post this as there doesn't seem to be a FN 49 forum and I wasn't sure if it would fit in the FAL forum. I have a Venezuelan rifle in 7mm Mauser and I want to know if anybody knows where I might be able to find some chargers/clips for it so I'm not single loading it all the time.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Have you tried M14icon/FN C1 type clips? I had one in .30 Cal years ago and am sure I used them. I didn't have any Springfield chargers so it must have been FN C1 clips then. I just sold 81 of them too...

Here's their offerings for the FN 49 https://www.libertytreecollectors.co...?idCategory=27

I suspect the .30-06 ones likely used standard 3 bump Mauser stripper clips as I suspect that was what the Belgians were using for their Mausers.

I can't remember what type my Venezuelan one used when I had it, either the 2 bump or 3 bump standard Mauser stripper clips. Likely whatever pattern of Stripper Clip they were using for the 7mm Mausers they would issue.
