    Unknown maker 1853 Enfield repro

Picked up this seemingly high quality 1853 Enfield repro today. Apart from the crown and '1853 ENFIELD' on the plate, there are no markings. Wondering if anyone has seen one like this, and knew the manufacturer. Thanks!

Pedersoli and Parker-Hale are the only makers I know of.

I think it’s made by Armi Sport.

Correct. I took the lock off later and found 'AC' in a circle behind it. Think this one was in the process of being defarbed.

Like stated earlier, its likley a armi sport/euro arms/chiappa built one. All the same company through out the years.
The Italians have a year code system usually 2 letters in a circle or square. AC is the year code for 1977.
Looks good! I hope you get to enjoy it sooner than later.
