Question Cartridge Cases and Cat Urine

No, it's not a country and western song.(as far as I know). Been a few years since I've bought an RCBS die and while reading the directions I found an interesting note under Working With Cartridge Case section. "Do not store cartridge cases or ammunition near harsh chemicals such as gasoline, household cleaners or cat urine." Anyone ever lost any cases or ammo to cat urine? I know it's nasty but really? Is cat urine an overlooked solvent?

Many years ago I agreed to purchase a few parts kits off of a forum. A few days later I was informed by the seller that he was refunding my money. He said that his cat ****ed on them and ruined them. Having owned cats (past tense) I had no reason to doubt him. If not caught in time will destroy things.

Isn't it the ammonia that corrodes/causes verdigris? I was in a house a few weeks ago that has numerous ill-managed cats and it was practically impossible to breathe from the ammonia stench.

I hate cats... My stepmother collected Persian Cats and their hair and excrement stench was on everything. I remember her paying $500.00 for a "Blue Persian" and that was in the '70s. In my opinion, the only thing cats are good for is shooting and eating.

My stepmother did buy two Siamese kittens one summer, I think it was around 1974, I was in my room one morning had suddenly heard some god awful screaming, like someone was being murdered. I ran out of my room which was near the front door of the house to find my stepmother and three stepsisters outside the house screaming because two Germanicon Shepherds were making short work of these two cats. Once the carnage was over and the wilted bodies of the cats lay in the gutter I was "ordered" to bury her cats in the field.

About a year later my and a buddy got into collecting skulls. We would clean the skulls of the various animal we would kill or find dead and bleach the skulls in hydrogen peroxide solution. One day I remember those to cats and grabbed my shovel and dug them up to take the skulls. I cleaned them up and put them on my shelf to display, proudly I might add as I did an excellent job.

Now you must understand, my room was a thoroughfare I had zero privacy as to get in the garage you had to go through my room. Yes gentlemen I was Cinderfella. Well, a day or two after I put the skulls on display my stepmother was walking through my room and stopped. Pickup the skulls and said, "These look like cat skulls" I said, "Thay are! they are (whatever the cat's names was I can't remember anymore) skulls" She nearly jumped out of her dress, the look on her face was priceless.

Later that evening after my father returned from duty, I could hear my stepmother voicing her displeasure; their room was directly above mine. My father asked that I remove the cat skulls because "it disturbs your stepmother". Sadly, I picked them up and took them to my friend's house so he could have them in his collection.

    Stewed, baked or grilled?

    I'm guessing baked?

Fortunately few cats are literate and the SJW have enough on their plates already, if you know what I mean?

NB: "Mt. Lion" is not a place

I guess I should have said, North American Cougar, I worked as a Taxidermist back in the mid '80s when a fresh Cougar came in the shop. The hunter gave us some Cougar steaks and the wife of the shops owner cooked them up for us. Good stuff. I was fortunate to be able to eat a lot of different animals that I may have never eaten had I not worked in that Taxidermy shop.
