    eBay Does Work......................Eventually

It's been six years but I finally found an extractor for my Gras rifle on eBay. Don't have it in hand yet but it's coming. Expensive as heck but it is what it is.

Patience is key with these things.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. But finally it's done. Feels good, doesn't it?

Congrats on finding one. I do the same, I have a number of searches set-up. One of them is a search for anything on NCB Fifty Nine the SEABEE battalion that my grandfather was in during WWII. Every now and then I get really good hits. Even got a pack of original battalion photos that even the Seabee Museum didn't have and brass casting of their seal.

Not real happy with the seller now. He just now today shipped it. It's been a week.

The extractor is now installed. My Gras ammo is buried somewhere so I can't test it out yet.
