    Anyone know much about m9's?

I have an Italianicon Mod.92F made in '86. Other than the stamp its the same weapon as the m9.

Its in great shape but for whatever reason it doesnt like my steel case ammo. Cant even get through the 15 rounds.

My question is...would it be the mag in most instances or the gun causing problems? I remember reading that some m9 mags are no good or something. That their was multiple versions of magazines and that some were way better than others. Maybe I need the better mags. Wanted to see if anyone here knew. Thanks!

I found only two problems with the pistols. The magazine springs will give out over time and the safety will have the tendency of pop off safe without you knowing it. The magazine spring is an easy fix. I replace the magazine springs with 10X wolff springs. The safety issue can be fix with a replacement safety. I convert my personal gun to a "G" model which is just a decocker which i like.

I'd try different ammo. I've had both 9mm and .40 cal and they eat all I feed them. It COULD be the mag too. If you can just try another mag, they should be cheap enough for you to get one.

I changed my DAO .40 cal to a standard sear and double/single action without a thumb safety. I liked that one lots, it was the compact...
