    M1911A1 Data Sheets?

Does anyone have a data sheet(s) for the 1911A1. I have a couple of pistols I need to work out.
Looking for something similar to the M1icon Garand or M1 Carbine sheets.
    Thx!

I'm not sure what you are talking about. Can you be more specific?

The "data sheets" I've seen for the M1icon Garand are pretty neat. The sheet usually has a diagram of the gun, along with places to fill in all the critical info on a given gun, including serial number, stock cartouches, part dash numbers, etc. It's a great way to inventory all the parts and conditions for them of a particular gun so that you can see which parts are correct, or have been replaced, are incorrect, etc. The sheets are really handy for Garands, since they had so many parts, and lots of changes to part numbers over the years, plus quite a few manufacturers. I believe they even have these sheets for the P-38 pistols.

I'm surprised someone hasn't made a data sheet like this for the Model 1911/1911A1 pistols.

Or you could mail a paper copy to a member with a scanner and they could post it here.
