I'm thinking things such as being "asked" by one's employer to be "chipped".

One can imagine some of the responses that a "company chip inserter" may get from employees when he/she says, to employees, "I'm sorry to bother you but I just need to install this chip into you. It won't take a minute.".

The “company chip inserter” might get a “chip” inserted into him too...

Don't forget that they are building a genetic database that within about 10-20 years is going to be pretty complete in North America, thanks to those ancestry.ca type goes. It has already been used to solve several cold case murders by obtaining warrants, and because it doesn't need to be your DNA just a close relative as they can get a warrant to get yours if anything suspicious comes up.

It would not surprise me if in a few years they start taking a DNA sample when you are born for future reference.

I know they have my fingerprints. Have had them for a long time. Not sure if they have my DNA or not. I just don't remember if I was in at the time or not. I seem to recall it being discussed but don't recall the test. Who knows what they did to me in the hospital two years ago.

Speculation is good it keeps everyone guessing which is what they want I mean for years they have had satelites that can just about read the newspaper siting on your lap in the park!
They all got narky when Russiaicon tested that killer satellite not long ago I wonder how long the USAicon has had one up there delivered by the space shuttles there were plenty of classified military launches!

In my view one thing we have never learned from history with all the wars and that is to get along with each other for there will always be the rich, poor, starving, well fed, care, don't care people on this planet.
If there is an entity up there looking down on this sorrowful effort we call earth then they must surely question why the heck did they build the joint in the first place!

Don't worry, I believe they have tons of data, but I also believe in Government incompetence so that data is likely poorly stored and very inaccessible to sift though, likely requiring a lot of time and manpower to happen, which they are unlikely to dedicate unless they have to.

The lessons are not lost on me, my point was that our efforts are better spent on trying to understand why and how we got into this mess, and whose efforts have been devoted to getting us there, and why.

This does not diminish the importance of the events of the past, it's more a question of where one chooses to spend one's time now. Those of us who have a decent knowledge of some aspects of history, would be wise to flesh out our knowledge of the "flash and bang" with more knowledge of the backgrounds, the deeper causative factors and players, how they are acting today, and to what ends.

I suppose to some people that will sound alarmingly "conspiratorial", but as FDR said, "
In politics nothing happens by accident. If something happens a certain way, you can bet it was planned that way
Or as Abraham Lincoln put it:
We cannot absolutely know that these exact adaptations are the result of pre-concert, but when we see a lot of framed timbers, different portions of which we know have been gotten out at different times and places, and by different workmen; and when we see these timbers joined together, and see they exactly make the frame of a house or a mill, all the tenons and mortises exactly fitting, and all the lengths and proportions of the different pieces exactly adapted to their respective places, and not a piece too many or too few.... in such a case we feel it impossible not to believe that all understood one another from the beginning and all worked upon a common plan or draft drawn before the first blow was struck.

“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.
