What is so special about it?

Here is a link to a Kragicon for sale on gun broker. It is in nice shape but I do not think it is worth more than 5000 dollars. Am I missing something? https://www.gunbroker.com/item/875581630

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. must be the "Unissued U.S. Springfield Armory Model 1898 .30-40 Kragicon Jorgensen Bolt Action Rifle.....Many of the guns are new in the box and many were never even opened or removed fom the protective wrappings" that are the selling point. The rifle pictured looks like it was oiled up like a weight lifter before the competition. If I could get a Krag in the box new never opened and Uncle Trump give me his spare change I might drop that much on one - IF FACT IS Proven, but not on a internet buy.

A common model in very nice condition, maybe it is in a crate with nine other Krags!

IMHO - Bidders are over-paying about 3 to 4 times realistic value.

Springfield did not pack Kragicon rifles in individual boxes and wrapping.
