Some years ago there was a report on percussion revolvers in a Germanicon shooting magazine and they recommended a skin cream from Aldi, same as Nivea and half the price. I've tried all kinds of things including bees wax thinned with vegetable oil, but I reckon the skin cream is the best. As for filler I use either felt or coffee grounds, dirt cheap, easy to measure and environmentally friendly.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.
