E-Bay funds the people who want to take your firearms away from you. Gunparts, who have been selling milsurp and repro stuff since be fore of us were, does not.
Last time I looked an M1C or D cheek piece was the same as an 1903A4's.
"...horsehair filler..." Highly unlikely you'll find anything filled with that any more.

I just bought the last two that this place had, in Belgiumicon. Turned up, they have horse hair type pad in them. Very well made.

Well therein lays the conundrum. Everyone acknowledges the evils of eBAY and Guns, including gun companies and gun rights organization but NONE has helped build a viable alternative for the masses. Just think how much revenue could be gained for the gun rights groups if simple to use, versatile, and available eBay type sites were stood-up. Sorry GUNBROKER ain't it, having to get Postal Money orders to buy something is liken of the middle ages. So if there is no real alternative to getting the parts we need, why keep preaching that?

That’s a choice that individual buyers make. I sell on GunBroker and take cards right through GunBroker. I’ve contemplated charging a fee to take anything BUT cards. It’s more convenient for me too!

90% of sellers on GunBroker are the ones making GunBroker difficult.

Not really, most of the parts sellers and a good portion of the gun sellers will only take money orders. eBAY did this early on, then built PayPal and did away with the dumb money order, and a two years ago moved to Credit Card options which gave me real protection from the shady guys. If GunBroker wants to be a viable option and play in the eBAY world, its been trying to do more then guns now, it needs to stop the whole money order thing.

I never hesitate to pay the 2 or 3% CC fee, it's often less than the Money Order fee, and my time going to and from the post office especially with the COVID-19 crap. Lines were bad before and even worse now. I just experienced it as I bought a handguard from one of the members here and had to go to the post office for the money order and to mail it as Mailboxes on the corners here seem to be a thing of the past.

Whoops. That was a slip on my part. I meant to say, "that's a choice that individual SELLERS make."
The credit card processing company I use has VERY low fees. It's too easy to accept them nowadays. I think a lot of sellers are just holding on to the past...not that us milsurpers have much room to talk on that subject!

Isn't Gunbrokers listing fees less then eBAYS too? I seem to remember reading something about that. I have not listed on GunBroker yet, but will soon.. Time to start liquidating some of my rifles so I can get new (used) and better rifles.

MUCH lower. I'm in the neighborhood of 6% all told for GunBroker and more like 14% on eBay.
eBay gives you an edge in terms of visibility but obviously you can't sell guns on there so that doesn't matter.

I'm going to shoot you a PM with a little more details.
