    Geoff,
Great to hear you have fought through it mate and hope your daughter and other family members miss it completely.
Worrying times, especially, like us, when you take so much care on cleaning things down "continually"!!

Its as if it had blown over, more now its blown up.
    Indeed.

The capacity for stupidity within the general public has no bounds, I was saying to friends back in July/Aug that by November we'll be in deep do-dah because people with barely half a brain, can't grasp the simple facts about social distancing, as evidenced by the numbers of people desperate to jump on a plane and go abroad and party as if everything was back to normal.
I was told I was over reacting......

True, but its also the bigger problem of them being super-spreaders, and the 'belief' among many of the young that they re immune from it as a result.

A friend of mine who's son is currently at Uni, told me last month, that one of his son's ex-school friends died from it - so, that has shocked his son into changing his view of how he needs to protect himself while at Uni now.

Thanks and glad it worked out, My wife was just diagnosed positive 10-14-20 of course today 10-15-20 the 4 remaining Kids and Myself had to be tested need to wait 48-72 hours for results, while it hit wife hard. Knock on wood no one else has her symptoms. watching it kick the cousins out of wife I am lucky so far kids and myself are symptom free...As far as where picked up with the incubation taking up to 3 weeks anyone`s guess..Work? Kids? Store? Church? One can have Covid-19 never develop symptoms, and still give it away. Or have every symptom there is and no one in contact is affected, One weird man designed bug for sure.

Why though, If it was designed by man in a laboratory for Military Purposes, (assuming it came out of their Biological Chemical Weapons lab in Wuhan) it would have been designed to immobilise an Army in minutes not weeks, wouldn't it??

From what I understand of the consipracy theory regarding the Chinese manufacturing this, it wasn't for the purpose of attacking an enemy army, but the consipracy theory is that they created something that will infect and 'knock off' their own elderly and infirm and the drain that they are seeing on their own state and largely leaving the younger people unaffected.....and at the same time creating havoc in the rest of the world while they sit back and wait........playing the long game that they are known for.

While I wouldn't trust the PRC as far as I can throw them, I'm not convinced that its been a deliberate release into the community, although I do suspect that the source of this was an accidental release from one of their err.......research centres.

The Chinese would have no reason to expose their own population unless they were sure they had the means to quickly the suppress the disease, and they were sure such means would not be available to, or would not be used by those countries that they might wish to infect. But why should they wish to do so anyway? China is going from strength to strength, she has no need to introduce this kind of problem to the world.

Either the disease is tearing through China or they have found a way to treat it on a mass scale, quickly and effectively. And so the Chinese elephant snores on the fireside rug while most of the Western world stares at the ceiling and talks about the weather

Our media seems to have forgotten all about China; we hear nothing. But then who asks?

This is from the WHO and I assume the numbers ultimately came from the Chinese government which may be either too high or too low depending on which conspiracy theory one ascribes to. I suspect they are a bit low but perhaps not all that low because unlike here in the U.S. the virus is not political and with their form of government when they are told to wear masks, they do. When they are told to sanitize , they do. Here in America we wear seat belts in our motor vehicles, don't go without shoes or shirtless in eateries, stop at stop signs (usually) among many other government edicts for the public good but we cannot wear a freaking mask because it somehow infringes on our freedom. My brain tells me, if this virus was caused by Bats/Rats/Cats or whatever, why has it not emerged before. Sorry but this callsign is still firmly on the "manmade" side I'm afraid until someone tells me otherwise with scientific proof.
This could have prematurely been carried out of the labs by an employee by mistake...........or not as the case may finally be!!
Easier to blame climate change, everybody else does!
One things for certain...........gun sales have gone throught the roof all over the world, does someone know something I don't, is a Zombie outbreak coming lol??

Not here they haven't, most firearms licencing departments just gave up issuing new ones and variations, though they seem to be starting again now.
