    Black Oxide

    I was wondering if anyone else here has used Black Oxide Gel before and can let me know if or how I can Remove it with a certain type of Chemical or anything that will help me remove it.

    Depends what you put it on Frank, if on stainless you can use Muriatic acid to remove it but that will eat aluminum...

    Thanks Jim, This Bayonet Lug looks Black. I've never used it before only Cold Blue and that is easy to remove. I'm trying to find out what are my options. I will keep Searching...Thank You Again Jim
