M1d issued to Roc ( taiwan)???

    Hi guys
I need to find a story about a garand i want to buy. It is an m1d , dont know the serial number now. The barrel have a date 64, and the symbol of the star with a circle inside. For what i found, this barrel was a replacemt barrel made in taiwan (roc).
It is a m1d, with a danish stock and a m84 fkf marked scope.

So.. im trying to understand id this rifle was a fake, or if it is really an m1 issues in taywan and then to denmArk, or vice versa.

    Any idea??
    Thanks
    Andy
