What model bayonet, what year, and what's it worth?

This Bayonet is PROBABLY WW2, and it's either Japaneseicon or American. What year was it made? I think it's japanese but I'm not sure. Serial number says 4872.

Yes, Japanese Arisakaicon bayonet, here are your markings to examine. I can't see that one clearly enough. https://oldmilitarymarkings.com/japanese_markings.html

To find what they go for, search online sales for some equal to yours but take note of what they sell for, not asking or buy it now. Prices near me won't reflect what you can get. For basic ideas perhaps Hayes Otoupalik or other sales sites...although retailers are usually high.

Relatively common manufacturer, it's been cleaned which really hurt what value it had. Most of the original finish has been polished off. No scabbard hurts. Looking at $50-$60 but will be tough to find a buyer in that shape.
