Hi all, got a bunch of goodies I photoed today.

Hi folks. Been busy and usually head to Gunboards but they are now so complex I may spend more time here.

Any interest in a 44 Tula with probably original alloy and all original parts including matching mount, original stock, bolt, BP, mag. floor, etc..

Not only that but there are a number of rude people there including some moderators. I can't understand why people find it so hard to be nice and civil in online forums. That why this forum, the Winchester and Remington user groups are the only ones I spend any time on.

Thanks all. Who knows what they go for. Having about 25 and having had more PUs, This is the only one like it I have ever encountered. Tula was near the factory for alloy scopes so they used many. When the rifles went in for refurb, they typically got black paint. I have 2 other 44 Tulas not refinished except the stock all get shellac upon armory service. They are not rematched, reblued, original numbered mounts correct for Tula, etc.

When I got this one I was offered a big profit to sale it. No way. It can not be replaced in my experience, never seen another.

I think that it depends on which parts of the forum (Gunboards) you visit but, generally, I find it ok. It is a big forum, with lots of members, and most people seem fine to me. Obviously, if one gets involved in a discussion of a "political nature" one shouldn't be surprised if an argument ensues.
