    M1 Carbine Sling

Can a M1icon Carbine Sling be Repaired where the Tip breaks off to the groove and will Not Snap and Hold anymore ? I'm hoping it can, but I thought I check to see before tossing it.

    Thank You

I've done them before Frank but they don't look as good as they should. You can tell mostly. I kept those fasteners from other things and have a small supply...could send you one if you like. You have to take the spare apart and the broken one and put the good one back together. Some other fasteners are shoemaker stuff but not those I think.

Thank You Jim, I appreciate the offer, but I have a spare one from a old Sling that went bad. At least I know it's possible and it will give me something to do when the Treatments start-up again.

It's just work...take the old one apart first so you see how and then be more careful with the good one. Worst case, you know where to find another.
