SMLE MkI Barrel Profile

Does anyone know for sure if this is the same as the MkIII profile? They seem basically identical on the ones I am comparing, the knoxform flat is a little wider and lower on the MkIs and the rear sight base and inner band are different of course. If everything else is the same that would be very useful as two minutes on a mill and rebluing would turn a stripped MkIII barrel into one ready for installation on a MkI action.
