This is all it takes, and credit to where credits due, he didn't need to but he did. This young lad will ALWAYS remember that.

Good thing Boris had it typed. Maybe the secretaries call him "Boris the (drunken) spider"?

There are a few which is typical in the UKicon at the moment, who think it was a publicity stunt. He is a father and knows a simple letter on headed note paper will make all the difference to the boy. It was his family who released it to the press.
Amazing that there are always a few (the ones who see spaceships every morning) who moan and criticise, and usually politial. I am not political, but thats exactly what I would have said to my kids if a pandemic had hit. Mind you both mine are in their 40's now lol!

At least the Inky spider wrote back and signed it!!!

I sure hope my kids still believe in Santa when they are 40 too!
Good story and thanks for passing along. Thanksgiving was rough. hopefully things like this are at least an indication that the situation will improve soon.

The letter wasn't a publicity stunt but it was good for public relations and there is nothing wrong with that for someone in the public eye.

The letter cleverly reinforces the government's message about the importance of good hand hygiene in a way that children can easily understand.
