    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.     WOW. Finally I see a real one. The carbines too...and the Jeep plate, done so you can read it in the mirror following you. Guy up front wearing the seldom seen "Jungle boots" of the era.

    Off the top of my head I'll say that looks like a sun helmet. I like the NY license plate. Is that a gas trap garand?

    I just don't think so...this far along in the war. I know on some forums they just JUMP to decide it's a gas trap, but I don't think so...
