What is this stock marking on type 30 ?

Possibly not a Type 30. Stock markings like that are usually only on school training rifles. Could be a type 30 relegated to school use. Chinese Arisaka's also have markings like that sometimes. Full photos would be helpful.

It is a hook bolt with light cancel mum, 30 type marks below no extra numbers for serial. Still trying to figure pictures thing out

A lot of these went to the schools. That's what the concentric circles over the mum indicate. It was removed from military service. On the good side, this doesn't appear to be one they converted to fire only blanks so you should be good to go to shoot it. Just make sure it has rifling. The barrel markings are the originals, not Japanese for "blanks only". With this additional info, the stock marking has something to do with the school. I can't help you with what it says.

I will side with aragorn243 a lot of the 30`s were relegated to school use, student training. So the weapon most were converted to blanks, However some were not, heed the warnings of barrel and chamber, needs to be rifled, smooth bores were the blanks like the type 38 many came from factory as blanks for school uses, ended up in uneducated hands doing serious damage to the shooter and the Arisaka name.
