Good reference book on the SVT

    Hello Forum,
I am a new member and I am considering buying a SVT. I would like to learn more about the rifles before I put down the money, so can someone suggest a good reference book on the SVT?
    Thanks in advance,
    Rabbit57

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Hello

I have an SVT-40 and it is a super fun gun to have. I will say its not the most reliable thing out there, but it sure gets attention from other shooters.

Here is the best source of info on them I've found: https://www.m9130.info/svt-40

    Here is my SVT:

    Excellent, thank you!

Beautiful rifle, a question. Where did you get your sling, that looks pretty nice.

The very best book you can find:

    Ñàìîçàðÿäíûå è àâòîìàòè÷åñêèå âèíòîâêè Òîêàðåâà" (èçä. 2-å, äîï.è èñïð.)

The only problem: Some of the photos have English description, but the the book is in Russianicon.

Shippment to Germanyicon was no problem.
