Norinco - Help on Value / Dating

Hi, I am trying to date and determine the value of 2 Norinco Sporter rifles.

My neighbor who is 80 was an FFL dealer back in the 60s. He thinks he acquired them in the late 60s or just when they were released for availability. He kept 2 of these new in box, never fired.

    The serial #s......

    A) One is a 6 digit # starting with a "1".
    B) One is a 7 digit # starting with a "7"

    Both have the sling.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you.
