How About These Slingwell Markings ?

    Attachment 113093

On a carbine for sale in Alaska.
I asked the GB seller if he knows anything about them, awaiting reply.
    I see:

    1005 - 50 - 716 - 1845
    PG - W 6 / 57
    Crested Eagle

See near the bottom: U.S. Carbines in Germany and Austria

Can anyone crop and magnify the sling well view and post it ?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. I fiddled with it for 10 minutes or so and couldn't come up with anything better than what you're showing.

Frank: if you're going to throw out those sights, send me the center one in the LH column. I'll pay the postage. - Bob

    Frank,
That Type II band is a real one. Ed is a stand up guy aka Mortardoctor . Not like the East coast version of George... rollermillseast Don't buy anything from that guy. I've seen him ruin good USGI plain faced safeties and Swivels by adding fake letter stamps !

The Stock above has the Nato Stock Number (NSN) is 1005-50-716-1845 in it. Wayne and Deldriver spoiled my Mystery Party, I still have to follow up on the bottom line..... I was told in a Spooky voice to: Go to the Bavarian pages and you'll find your answer.... Bla Bla

Tomorrow I'll post a carved on stock. See if anyone can figure that one out !!

Bob, I looked at my Fake flip on the S'G' today. I've been wrong it's not a B-S'G' it's a Fake RG-S'G'. So at this point I'd take any real Flip that would have been original or correct for it.

Saturday is my birthday..... So will you look it up and tell me my options... Ole buddy ?

Also have you figured out a price for that Ole beat up truck ?

PS: Note Franks Fake ID picture.... ROFLMAO !!
