AJ Parker Twin Zero M/80 - for which rifle?

I recently obtained an AJ Parker Twin Zero M/80 rear sight in its original box in the original wrap. Unfortunately I was unable to identify for which rifle the mounting adapter is meant for. Can anyone help me with that?

Edit: of course AJ Parker and not Parker-Hale...

I am fairly sure that it was actually AJ Parker rather than Parker Hale (competitors) who made the M80

Normally for any Mauser actioned rifle but different fittings were available.
I believe they were actually designed to suit PH 7.62 target rifles (such as the 1200TX)

Oh, so mine is without the rifle adapter? I was under the impression the two screws displayed are already to be mounted to a certain rifle. That might answer the question as well..

Promo, Alan de Enfield is demonstrating British understatement. One can see in your photo that the sight is marked Alfred J. Parker!

And as it also says on the box, it is adaptable for various rifles - if you have the correct adapter - "which in your case you have not got".

Nevertheless, it's a fine specimen, and it would be worthwhile making an adapter to suit the rifle on which you wish to mount it.

The pictures were not posted when I replied, but I have had M80's so was failrly sure of my facts.

You need the bracket for whichever rifle it is to go on. By itself it doesn't fit on anything.

I did mix up AJ Parker and Parker Hale, sorry for the confusion - and thanks for answering my question! I got it fairly reasonably priced, hence it doesn't matter this much it came without a rifle adapter. I was mainly attracted by the fact it came with the original box.

What rifle are you looking to fit it to ?
I have a couple of the actual mounting brackets surplus to requirements.

I've had a look thru my 'assorted box of bits' and have 6 brackets for the M80 sight.

3 different types.
Just to confirm I've got the correct ones - the fixing holes centre to centre spacing look to be 19mm (3/4")

If interested make me an offer for any number (1 to 6) If you are not interested, no problem at least you now know what you are looking for.

Given my rifle family best would be something to fit to a P.14 rifle, if either of them is that?
