Tried some Eley .22 sub sonic in it. Super quiet!

Nice looking rifles. Be sure to reverse (flip over) the slings on both to reduce the chance their metal ends damage the stocks.

I always liked the full size rifles converted to .22. They held and shot great. Could never afford many though, one of these would have been nice. This one's like artwork.
    Regards, Jim

My daughter also love shooting the .22's; especially the 1918 SMLE on the 50 metre range.

    Merry Christmas to all!

Is the extractor spring the same on this rifle as the No1? I know the bolt head, firing pin, and the extractor are different. I want to pick up a spare or two

I believe I answered my own earlier question about tubed or solid barrel via Skennertonicon. The rifle is marked No2 Mk IV* which according to "The Lee Enfield", page 489 were converted with solid barrels.

Thanks! Didn’t expect such a quick reply, let alone a drawing of the firing pin.
