SMLE Mo1 MkV in excellent to new condition

I have a 1922 trials rifle thats in excellent condition with hardly any signs of use. There was a spot of rust on the middle band that I have cleaned off and oiled that has left some pitting but thats the only blemish on the metal. There is some dings on the wood but nothing that cant be steamed out. Its all original all matching numbers not import marked as far as I can find with out taking it apart which I wont do.Its been a safe queen all its life. I have fired 3 rounds of PPU from it and I really dont think it was fired since being civilian proofed in england before being surplussed untill I fired it. So the question is whats it really worth. The rifle that RIA sold for 1750 that forgotten weapons did the video on looks beat up compared to the one I have. Recently one sold on gunbroker for 3025 that was well used but complete. I am in AR USAicon

Very Nice Mr E, Looking at the nose cap its had a bayonet on off a few times ? all the info I had gained on the No1 MkV has long gone (memory stick failed, lots of other stuff gone too...) I cant even remember what I sold my complete one for, Still have the one I saved from a Sporter though, there was one in the UKicon for a very overinflated price tag some time back, which was the one I seen many years ago in an auction it never reached the reserve of just over £700 but it was an mint example, (not to be confused with the one that was doing the rounds which was done by EFD, only original part was the Action)
Think the last original one I seen went for around £1500-£1700 in the UK.

I have searched Auctions and other online selling information and after contemplating the prices these have sold for and the condition of the rifles sold I come up with a value in the range of 3800. Am I right or too low/high or just dreaming.
    Thanks

I typically see them sell for $1800-$2000, though your mileage may vary. I got mine for only $1200, which was freakishly low in my opinion. There're a couple in the mid-2k to 3k range on Gunbroker that have been sitting there for a long time.

I picked up mine when Century International first imported them and was selling them to dealers for $ 200.00 each . I paid $300.00 from the dealer out the the door . They had 20 or so in the rack to pick from ,all were complete no missing parts in at lease 85% condition .

I might put it out forsale and start it at $3800 and drop the price $100 a week until it sells.
