Reising Model type ?

Found these 2 pictures I thought were pretty interesting.
I believe this is a Reising, but I don't recall ever seeing the folding stock and I believe shorter barrel ?
Anyone know the model designation ?

I wanted to share the pictures, but was too ashamed to look up the gun, so I didn't.
Haven't watched the video yet either, but will assume that Wire Folder isn't so great.

Yep, a widely accepted model of the wonderful Reising... I wouldn't want the folder either, rather have the solid butt.

As far as full auto transferables go, the Reising is darn near cheap!
I’m trying to convince a buddy to buy one. He’s thinking about something full auto and has much deeper pockets than I do!

The Reising magazine pouches are different from the Thompson

It was stated that the USMC dumped quite a few Reising smg's in the rivers and that

There were a lot sold in Canada to Police
City of Montreal sold there's off in 1977 all blue no swivels mint guns with 20 round magazines

Actually , the Reising was pretty good if you look at it in a LE use environment . The Marines could not get any Thompsons at the time and went with what was available NOW . They were not built to mil-spec as far as mud and dirt and parts interchangeability . The Marines cleaned these like they were Springfields , Thompsons , BARs , or M1919A4s . This is when the problems began . When the new weapons were unloaded from the boats , the commander had the Reisings on shore thrown into the river because there was no way or time to try to unmix all the parts in those guns .
