    I had an epiphany! I took out the gunsmith's custom trigger and replaced it with an original. It worked. I think the bolt was hanging up on that trigger.

    Found the culprit. The custom made trigger made by the gunsmith!

    And your firing pin problem sounds like a weak firing pin spring. I've noticed that on quite a few Rosses. You could find a comparable spring or try getting the original re-tempered.
