    Sights no1 mk3

    I have a Canadianicon marker no 1 mk3 Enfield 22
It is drilled and tapped for an adjustable sight
The two mounting screw holes are parallel on the bolt side of the receiver above the bolt
    handle
I don't think it is for a modern commercial target sight , but I could be wrong
The gun came from the middle East and is military dark blue
I don't think Williams made this sight style

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Ultra Rare CANADIAN SMLE Enfield No 1 Mk 3 22cal Trainer Ross Rear Target Sight Complete With Cooey Adapter This was the Canadianicon answer to providing a training rear sight for the .22 SMLE to simulate the later aperture-sighted full-bore Service rifles used during the Second World War. At the time of its design, the sight would have offered equivalency to the sighting of the .303 Pattern'14 (Rifle No.3), but later afforded very practical representation of the No.4 rifle in particular. Rifles configured as the example above have also provided quite satisfactory small-bore target rifles over the ensuing years. As well this folding rear-sight, utlising the leaf from the Ross straight-pull service rifle , the Cooey Machine Corp These sights are almost impossible to get.
