    front sight very slightly canted

    i think the only way this can happen is that if the barrel was screwed in a bit too much. its barely noticeable, probably less than a degree.i doubt it would have any effect at 200 yards but i don't know for sure. is there a spec on this sort of thing?
    would correcting it affect headspace?

    Canted front sight

    I seem to remember that Gus Fisher use to say it you could get to within 1 degree eight way that was good. When I index my barrels, I get them down to 0 degree difference.

    One degree or less is OK. 1/2 degree for NM rifles. This amount shouldn't effect the headspace.
