Tung oil removal from blued parts

    Hello
I was refinishing my mosin and applying tung oil well not exactly tung oil but minwax version. I know, I have ordered the real stuff and I figured I would use it up. I put everything together and decided on one more coat and I slipped it up. Now that it has dried it looks like crap on my receiver, mag etc. Is there a way to get it off or do I spend the day replying. Please help. Thanks
