    Unknown Rifle Device (I think)

    Great snowy Morning all,
    I have found something I can't ID. I think it is some kind of cartridge[ATTACH][ATTACH]Attachment 115182[/ATTACH][/ATTACH] adapter or teaching device. Anyone have any idea what it is?

    22lr sub caliber adaptor - (without looking them up for the photos to confirm which one) either for a 1903 Springfield or a 1919 Browning.

    I agree that it looks like a Model 1903 Hoffer-Thompson 22 Short rim adopter (there is a different name). This was designed to feed from the
    magazine and used for training. The barrel was rifled for the 22 short bullet twist. These sell for quite alot now, there is also a tool
