    Italian Carbine?

I just obtained a 7.62 carbine with few markings. I has the crossed sword & axe in a bundle of sticks on the top of the receiver. all serial #s match, but no other markings. I'm assuming it to be Italianicon. Anyone know?

Spanish Nationalist if I'm not mistaken.

Search for pics of "Civil guard" rifles.
