    Mark 1 1903 rebarrel

Help! Need the experts out there. Can I put a High Standard 1944 barrel on a MARK 1 action without modification? Will it fit with the MARK1 Stock? I know the Remington barrels will not without some tinkering.
Trying to decide is it worth it to restore a MARK1 from Frankenstien status.
    Thoughts?
    Thank you

There shouldn't be a problem. The Mark 1 receiver is the same as the standard 1903 receiver with the exception of the ejection port in the left side. Just make sure the barrel is a 1903 barrel and not a 03a3 barrel. Salt Flat
