Someone had a bad lot of 8mm Mauser - My gain..

I collected 10 rounds of 8mm Mauser at the range that someone left behind because they didn't fire. I'm never one to turn down free reloading components.

Looked around a bit and could not identify the headstamp , any ideas?

1937, Germanyicon would be my guess. Turkey would be using it but I don't think that's Turkishicon. Maybe Yugoslaviaicon, Czechoslovakiaicon, Spain, Poland are the other possibilities.

IIRC that is a sterile round made for the Spanish Civil War.
