    We had “normal“ communion.
We got back to church in May and are keeping strict rules, so that we don‘t get exposed to fines or other “amenities“.
    It worked until now.
    Happy Easter to everybody!

Today, from 7:00 to 14:00 helping at the vaccination centre in my town, helping people to get to the place, parking, keeping distance, etc.
Alpini in charge of all the “external” operations, because people feel safe and easy when we’re around.
That is one great compliment from the authorities, confirming the deep link between us mountain troops and our own people.
We had mostly old people, over 80. The rest over 70.
    Wonderful people, unbelievable humankind.
I seldomly felt as good as today in my whole life.
A lady even started weeping when I opened her car door, saying that she always gets emotional when she sees the Alpini, because she knows everything will be all right.
I just can’t wait until my next turn.
After hearing so many donkeys talk for over one year, now we can act. And we’re doing things right, in spite of all the wrong talking.
Our region is burning all records in vaccinating these days.
And, from Monday, back to “orange”. Range will open again. Too bad I’ll be in Austriaicon until Tuesday night. But Wednesday...
I reloaded so much that I guess I even reloaded my neighbors cat.
    Now I gotta shoot!

They are scrounging to get people to vaccinate around here. I read the other day on our local police page that they had 50,000 openings for appointments in the county over the next 2 weeks, thinking our county has a population of 400,000. Anyone can sign up. We have a pretty high refusal rate and if you're young, I really can't blame them. Now the news media is starting to wonder why areas with fewer restrictions are seeing fewer numbers. My personal theory, they are more independent, they don't get tested, they don't go to the doctor unless they really need to and they probably got it in higher numbers earlier and are now immune. My theory on the excess deaths is continuing to show promise. Deaths are now 14,000 per week lower than what would be expected and continue to plummet. Covid was listed at the third leading cause of death last year after cardiac issues and cancer. Average age of death remains 78. Life expectancy, 78. Yard sales today, almost no one was wearing a mask. But still see the occasional driver all alone in his or her car with a mask on.

High refusal rates also here, especially for Astra Zeneca. The rest is running pretty smoothly.

From a mere bystanders perspective and someone who has had the Astra Zenica, and who is able, by virtue of a wise age, see's something more going on here.
Definately not getting into Politics, but this whole episode I believe is based on Greed, Jealousy and one upmanship.

Because the UKicon ordered their requirement by contract many months before any other European country and paid up front for that...........the old rivalry reared its head yet again, bridled by extreme jealousy to start a falsehood campaign even after the European Medical Association and the World Health Organisation said the Astra Zenica vaccine was fine after two separate enquiries!!!

Just look at the risks of taking Paracetomol, Antihistamine tablets, everyday tablets taken by 100's of millions of people...........do they weigh up the risks properly........no they don't. If you have either look at the paperwork, if you read and believed it, you would stop taking them today!!

We had as an example 8,000 clot issues a month in the UK before this pandemic arrived, which sadly continues. So one has to ask, why is NOONE checking the clot issues of those around the world who have had Pheizer, Moderna or Johnson & Johnson..............the silence is deafening.
That means everybody who the other vaccines were offered is 100% healthy since their injection.

The Astra Zenica vaccine has not been approved for use in the US and it is looking like it will not be. That says something. What I don't know but as the others have been approved it seems a bit odd. This seems to be from Astra Zenica fudging its test results more than the clotting issue. We also don't appear to need it as the other three are enough.

The Johnson and Johnson vaccine had a massive setback in the US. Our facility here was ramped up to produce it and something happened that forced them to destroy 5 million doses and approval of the US produced vaccine has been put on hold. All those we got before came from the Netherlands and were not compromised.

The blood clot issue is not going away, seems to be getting worse.

I had a blood clot once, it was not a pleasant experience. Lower portion of my lung and it was extremely painful. The result of a broken pelvis and complications from that. I've been on a mild blood thinner, aspirin, ever since. They can be deadly depending on which side of the heart it occurs in. Gets to the brain or heart muscle itself bad news. Mine was so low in my lung that I have no real long term affects from it.

My point is your blood clot............... wasn't caused by the Astra Zenica vaccine but normal stress and strife before the pandemic???

Got my second Pfizer shot Friday. Only issues, a sore arm and a day of fatigue. It was three times as busy as the first time but still went smoothly.

Logic and the example of 1919-20 would dictate that once most of the population is immune, either by exposure or vaccination, the virus will basically die out the way the infinitely more deadly "Spanish Flu" did with no immunizations at all; and it happened quite suddenly too.

“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.
