I'm scheduled for my flu shot next Friday. Been getting one annually for many years and generally they seem to work. I'm rarely sick from the flu. But like Covid, it is not 100%. They may get the yearly strain wrong and it isn't as effective. Which is why I get irritated when they call the Covid shot a vaccine, it really isn't It has the same basic properties as the flu shot which is never called a vaccine because it isn't.
