    Hey USGI: Interesting observation! With inflation ($1 in 1970 = $6.78 in 2021 per $1 in 1970 --> 2021 | Inflation Calculator), that 23.5¢ single round would cost $1.59 in today's dollars.

    Sears Ammo by Federal

    I bought a box of Sears .30-06 ammo at a Pawn/Gun Shop a few weeks ago.
    Each cartridge has FC stamped on the brass, so I assume it’s Federal Cartridge.

    I think I’ll probably not shoot any of these, since it’s a full box.
    I paid the asking price of $20.

    $4.69 was more money in those days.
    Sears brand ammo is supposedly low end Winchester. Apparently they stopped selling ammo in 1980.
    Discussed here in 2001.
