We didn't get ear protection in the British icon

Army until 1971.........fact, small useless plastic plugs in a pastic container we tied tto ourt epaulettes on our smocks as they were always needed to hand, especially with the ring of the SLR, worse than a Sunday morning bells ringing at our local church.

my photo shows the 7,92x57, Polish 7,92x107 and German icon

7,92x94.

It was said that the Polish 7,92x107 would penetrate the early Panzer tanks

Later with captured Polish 7,92x107, the Germans removed the bullets and loaded
them in the 7,92x94Attachment 116345

OK a weapon not seen much but nevertheless a complete mystery, note the back pack magazine bergen............with canvas flap!!!

Likely it was only the one ever made, and it no longer exists.

Didn't even think of doing that

I recognised it from one of Forgotton Weapons video's that featured it, and that I'd taken to watching a lot of during lockdown without a job.....had never heard of it prior or seen a photo of it prior to that.

What a mess those were while they were trying to design things at first. Even the Thompson started with a belt feed mechanism.
