    flip sight

    I am looking at a flip sight, it is stamped in-b and has a "S" on the left side, is this a ww2 era sight ? and would it be correct for a 6 digit Inland ? Thanks for any help. price is $69.99

    No, IN-B marked sights are for IBM carbines. Pretty sure the one you are looking at is a reproduction sight, if it is on EBay.

    Sarco sells reproductions for 20 plus shipping.

    All the sellers on ebay selling reproduction sights without stating they are repop in the ad will claim they are USGI.

    Depending on the Serial range, 6 digit Inland's can be found with different style S on the base. Some were also found with the Leaf marked.

    Right, but I think all fake flip sights were post war.
