    Hi Eddy,

In this TM on pages 95 to 97 covers Magazines:
    http://www.90thidpg.us/Reference/Man...-1276_1947.pdf

    A 15 round Mag spring will measure about 5 -1/4" + or - a 1/4".
It shows the 30 rd but doesn't give a Spring length. I'd have to pull a NOS GI 30 rd apart for the free length measure.
I can't find the extra springs I put away....... Except the 1911 mag springs.

    HTH,

ETA: Sorry Bob, I started this a while back and never refreshed the page.

I just measured (2) new 15rd mag springs I got from Sarco a few years ago. These are thought to be genuine USGI. Both measured right at 5-1/2 inches. - Bob

@ Charlie, I saw the new thread late that night and was too tired to look up the answer. Next morning, you still hadn't posted - so looked it up while you were logged on I guess. Had the same thing happen to me before!
