    Rear band

    The screw on my rear band refuses to comeout all the way, is it captured?, even at the furthers out it does not loosen the band up enough to get over the retaining pin in the stock. What am i missing here?

    Yes, if memory serves M1917 band screws were originally staked.

    You should be able to compress the pin and slide the band forward.
