    Springfield 1884 .45-70 rifle

    1873 SPRINGFIELD .45-70
    Manufactured in 1882, the bore is very good, the wood has the usual dings and scratches. There is a Buffington rear sight. The metal has turned a dark patina. No FFL required to ship. $700.00 If interested email me at douglasmbowser@yahoo.com

Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.
