A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I had my all matching Maxim built by Dennis @ Midwest Metal Creations and it is a masterpiece of museum quality.

He has a fine reputation for quality, timely builds.

He also machined replacement recoil plates for my other Maxim.

An all around good guy and a pleasure to do business with.

    Thank You AZB,

After posting this, while searching for info about him and MMC I ran across many that stated High Regards.
Also seen quite a few projects of theirs sold on the big auction sites.

    Cheers,

Would be interesting to stand over the shoulder and watch the progress of a De Mil brought back to life.
OT, But just read about a guy building late 40's style cars in a mini form from old used refrigerators.
How do you come up with a idea like that ?

    Cheers,
