    JD,
Some have steel plate inside the sidewalls and a circular plate that's attached to the rim or inside the tread, with the rubber molded around it. I'm sure there are others. Guess it all depends on budget.

Passenger was apparently on his 4th day on the job. Specifically with the driver to learn.

Ours were made by Michelin for our Grizzly and Cougar six wheel armor vehicles...and the run flat is a solid rubber core for the inside of the tire. There's a bit of air for cushion but the core is solid rubber. Unless you blow pieces out it'll run. The bullet proof tires are cute, like layers of rubber bands overlaid. A bullet passes through and they still leak but slowly. If you have true run flats, they'll take whatever ball ammo sent their way. 7.62x39 won't make any difference.

Per the article his associates are investigating. If I was one of the criminals involved I would be seriously considering a career change and emigration.

Notice the guy standing on the edge of the road, then fired hitting the passengers window.
I didn't catch the time, but was after the driver turned around and warned 'Be ready for fire'.

Then, IMO the new hire will have what it takes to do the job after some more action.
Or if his name and address gets out nd family is in danger, he'll get out.

If here in the States, both driver and passenger would have already been 'outed' and having to hide out.

    Interesting link, Thx MSW2

Passenger doesn't seem to be in any rush to get out of the vehicle at the end.
