    Just got a sweet 1903A3

I was lucky enough to buy this Remington 1903A3 from another collector.

Yep, a real beauty. I can never find one that has the hand guard so nicely aligned with the top of the stock, they always hang over on one side.

very pretty. Any markings inside the stock? maybe just at the base of the barrel channel? From the pics, the wider grain, and small tight twists like your 7th pic looks like the European walnut that minelli uses. All of the several Minelli stocks I have used had that feature. The color looks great on yours, very nice!

"K" stamp in cut-off missing. Not a WW2 Keystone stock. Italianicon? Good chance.

Always loved the looks of the "C" stock, never owned one though. They're just a bit scarce around these parts. Nice looking rifle.

The previous owner offered me a couple of choices to pick from, one was a straight stock Smith Corona, and this one with the C stock for a couple hundred bucks more. Of course I picked the C stock since it was such a nice looking one.

Nice! I don't have a A3 yet maybe someday can only hope it will be as nice as this one.
