A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. I have a couple of the barreled actions for the Brit No7, purchased years ago when they were closing out the FFL items at Springfield Sporters.

Last year Century Arms started advertising a lot of milsurp gun parts, apparently they got hold of one pile of parts from SS finally closing up, and Apex gun parts got the other lions share.

Century listed a small amount of No7 paarts, and I did manage to score some springs, screws, auxillary extractors and one stripped bolt head.

Bought a magazine (with dent) from Liberty Tree, but no .22 insert.

Still looking for the extractor, spring and screw, and ejector for the side of the action.

What style of rear sight were used on these?

I WILL get this complete, by hook or crook.

    This may help :

I'm not sure that there are any 'original' issued sights left, or what was actually issued.

Mine has a standard Fazakerley Mk1 1300yd sight

Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

Haloperidol, if you PM me, I'm happy to measure / take photos of the parts you need so you can make them up.

I will keep that in mind. Another member here contacted me and may have some of the parts I need.
